With over 13 years of experience in international trade and an additional 12 years in corporate accounting, Rosa Fuentes is a Senior Trade Auditor with a deep understanding of U.S. Customs compliance and risk management. Currently at Deleon Trade, Rosa leverages her expertise to conduct thorough audits and provide actionable insights, helping clients navigate the complexities of global trade regulations.

At Deleon Trade, Rosa excels in analyzing client import data to identify risks, using ACE data as a critical tool for risk assessment. She has led numerous compliance audits in key U.S. Customs areas, including HTS classification, free trade agreements, valuation, and HTS Chapter 98. Rosa is also instrumental in developing detailed ACE training guides and conducting training sessions to empower clients in enhancing their compliance processes.

Before joining Deleon Trade, Rosa served as a Financial Analyst for McDonald's Corporation, overseeing the consolidation and financial reporting for McDonald’s operations across Latin America. This role provided her with invaluable experience in identifying potential U.S. Customs valuation issues through comprehensive general ledger reviews, further strengthening her ability to address complex trade challenges.

Rosa has completed advanced training in classification and valuation, and specialized training in NAFTA (now USMCA) and HTS Chapter 98, all of which keep her at the forefront of the ever-evolving international trade landscape.
